Everything you ever needed to know about becoming a wizard! |
Here Merlin the greatest wizard of them all sets down the facts about the life of a wizard and what an apprentice needs to learn to become one. Each chapter looks at a different aspect of the wizard's life, from the workshop to the robes and tools they wear through familiars, flying carpets, strange beasts and alchemy. Each reader must lear as best they can to try and become a mighty wizard, whilst avoiding the pitfalls that wizards from the past fell into! |
As the book is set out in sections and short chapters it makes it easier to read. The language is generally easy to follow but some parts may need a bit of attention. Another lovely book to share with young readers, who are interested. |
Once again Dugald Steer and his team of illustrators have produced a beautiful book to enchant young and old readers alike. The concept of the book allows for short chapters which are more manageable and the little added parts like the letters and maps are a wonderful touch. Another book that will enhance many a bookshelf. A lovely book to give as a gift to an aspiring wizard! |
Other books by Dugald A. Steer include Dragonology, Egyptology. |
