Karen King's humble opinion
10/10 Excellent work. Well done!
What's it about?
A pop up version of the favourite song "I went to the Animal Fair".
What happens?
A line from the song is written on each page and the child has to pull the tabs, lift the flaps, etc so see the animals doing the actions.
Is it easy to read?
Easy to read, there's only a few words on each page. Superbly illustrated in Anthony Browne's amusing and original style.
Anything else?
This is a fun read, great illustrations, lots of flaps to open and tabs to pull. Young kids will love it.
Other books by Anthony Browne include My Dad, Voices in the Park, Zoo.
Who says so?
This review by Karen King.
The publisher reckons...
Turn the wheel to discover the secrets of The Haunted House. Look out for the elephant's sneeze! You'll be amazed and excited, amused and delighted by Animal Fair.
