|Why does the news that the supermarket is built on an ancient burial ground worry Medi so much? |
|Medi cares for her two young half-brothers, Davey and Joe-Boy, in fact it takes up so much of her time that she doesn't have any time for making friends or having a social life. When archaeologists discover the graves of two stone-age children beneath the Kwiki Mart, Davey becomes very agitated and is terrified of the big black crows which haunt the car park.
What is the cause of his terror, and when faced with terrible danger, can Medi find a way to save herself and her brother? |
|A well-written, exciting adventure with a bit of a ghost story thrown in. Jarmonn writes on an unusual theme which would interest any child who likes history, adventure or ghosts. |
|Other books by Julia Jarman include The Time-Travelling Cat and the Roman Eagle. |
