Mrs Mad's humble opinion
7/10 This is quite a good piece of work.
What's it about?
New versions of these well-loved board books for first-time readers.
What happens?
Fun with Max and his sister Ruby. No matter how hard she tries Max always seems to do just what he wants.
Is it easy to read?
Perfect books for babies and toddlers with thick cardboard pages, beautifully vibrant pictures and large lettering.
Anything else?
Together with Max's Bath, Max's Bedtime and Max's Birthday, these should prove a popular choice with parents to encourage little ones to pick up books and begin the reading process. You can never start too early!
Other books by Rosemary Wells include Noisy Nora.
Who says so?
This review by Mrs Mad.
The publisher reckons...
One of four board books featuring the bunny-toddler, Max, and his ever-patient sister, Ruby.
